The late Betty Williams-Jackson was born to the late Mr. James McCurdy and Mrs. Ethel Mary Williams on November 28, 1938 in Dallas County, Alabama.

Betty was educated in the Selma City School System. She was united in Holy matrimony to the late Mr. Henry “Jack” Jackson.
Loved Once Gone on Before
Betty was preceded in death by her mother Ethel Williams, her father James McCurdy, and her beloved husband of 56 years Henry “Jack” Jackson; son: James McMillian, as well as two daughters, one grandson, and two brothers-in-law.
A Time to Weep and a Time to Rejoice
Leaving to cherish her lasting memories, two sons: Ronnie McMillian and Mark (Juanita) Jackson; seven grandchildren: Tonya Carter, Alphonso (Seanda) Woods, Teddrick Carter, Terica (Michael) Richardson, Lasoundria Williams, Shataria Hatcher, and a devoted grandson: Mark Anthony Brooks; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law: Dora Ann Harper of Chicago, IL; two special nieces: Debra Oliver and Keeshanda Tripp and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 12 Noon from the St. Paul Community Methodist Church with Pastor Joseph Coleman, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande, AL with Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home serving with excellence through professional service. Mrs. Jackson will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral hour at the church.
